TydiTribe is a household maintenance app operated by Novaralogic. This page explains how to delete your TydiTribe account and the data held with it, and how to delete only part of your data if you would rather keep your account.
If you want to remove certain things rather than your whole account, see deleting some of your data, without closing your account below.
This is the fastest route and it needs nothing from us.
Open TydiTribe, go to Settings, and choose Delete my account. You will be asked to confirm. Once you do, the deletion runs automatically and completes within 24 hours.
If you own a home that other people use, the app will first ask you to hand that home to another member, who has to accept, or to remove the other members. Until then, it will not delete your account.
If you no longer have the app installed, cannot sign in, or would simply rather we did it, email us at [email protected] with the subject line Delete my account.
Write from the email address on your TydiTribe account, or tell us the phone number you signed up with, so we can be sure the request is genuinely yours. We will not delete an account on the word of someone who cannot show it belongs to them.
We reply within 7 days. Once we have confirmed it is your account, the deletion itself completes within 30 days. If you own a home that other people use, we will ask you to hand it over or remove the other members first, as the app does.
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove something.
In the app. You can delete any document or photo you have uploaded, and you can edit or remove the entries, items and tasks you no longer want recorded. These take effect straight away, and nothing needs to come to us.
By email. If you would rather we did it, or you want something removed that you cannot reach yourself, email [email protected] and tell us what you want deleted. Write from the email address on your TydiTribe account, or tell us the phone number you signed up with, so we can be sure the request is yours. We reply within 7 days, and complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming it.
Your account, your login, and everything you have not asked us to remove stay exactly as they were.
One limit worth being plain about. If you are a member of a home you share with other people, the entries you logged there stay in that home's record, because the people still using it rely on it. Those entries are relabelled to a former member only when you delete your whole account. This is explained in full in our privacy notice.
Three things do not disappear, and we would rather tell you plainly than surprise you later.
Entries you logged in a home you shared with other people. If you were part of a household set of records, the things you logged stay in that record, because removing them would tear a hole in a history other people still rely on. They are relabelled so they no longer carry your name. They show a former member instead.
Documents you added to a home someone else owns. They stay in that home until its owner deletes them. We do not relabel documents the way we relabel entries.
Your name printed inside a document you uploaded. If your name appears on an invoice, a warranty card or a service receipt that you attached, deleting your account does not reach inside that file and change its contents. If this matters to you, delete those documents before you delete your account.
Our grievance officer can be reached at [email protected], and replies within 7 days. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
